| “How does the portable sink work?” EASILY! Fill up the fresh water tank. Place the tank inside and connect using the quick connect feature. Plug the unit into a standard 110V 20 A US standard outlet. Turn on the switch, and turn on the faucets. Drains into another resevoir. “How long is the warranty?” One year, standard commercial warranty for any manufacturing defects of material or workmanship. Please request a copy of our complete product warranty information. “Does the portable sink require additional plumbing?” No. Our sinks are completely self-contained. Each sink has it own on-demand heating and plumbing system. “Do I have to buy special water from a supplier for my portable sink?” No. However, if the quality of your water is bad, or extremely rich in minerals, you may want to substitute bottled water for common tap water. “What is the water pressure of the portable sink?” Our portable sinks operate at one half gallon per minute. “How often do I change the water?” Changing your water depends on how often the sink is used. There are about thirty, twenty-second hand washings per container of fresh water. “Where does the waste water go?” All of our portable sinks come with a waste-water tank. As the water flows through the sink, it is drained into the tank and emptied when near full. |
“Do I have to turn on the pump and heater separately, every time the sink is used?” No. Each time the portable sink is used, the tank must have fresh water, and there is one switch used to turn the unit on and off. The switch is turned off when the sink is not in use. “How does the hot water work?” Our portable sinks feature an on-demand water heater. “How hot does the water get?” Our on demand water heater features a scald guard that will not allow the water temperature to get hotter than 130°. The normal temperature range for the heater is 105°-120°, perfect for hand washing. And temperature mixing is achieved by normal operation of the hot and cold handles, like any other sink faucet. “How can I clean my portable sink? ” Outside: Use a soft cloth with a non-corrosive, scratch-resistant cleaner for the outside cabinet, faucet and sink basin. We recommend our Steramine Quaternary Sanitizer to keep your portable sink free from germs, bacteria, and algae, as well as many other forms of odor causing agents. Inside Plumbing: We recommend our Steramine Quaternary Sanitizer. Fill the fresh water tank with approximately four gallons of clean water, add one packet of Steramine, reconnect tank and run portable sink normally for two minutes with cold water. Replace the solution with fresh water before the next operation and let run for 30 seconds. “Is the cabinet on casters?” Yes, all of our cabinets feature smooth rolling casters. The front casters are locking to keep the unit in place. Have another question that is not answered here? Our qualified staff is ready to assist you. 1-866-663-1982 |
